About Paula Caradoc-Davies

I’m Paula Caradoc-Davies, principal of CARADOC | Cape Property Specialists. With a robust foundation in sales, advertising and marketing, and a passion for real estate, I bring a unique blend of skills and experience to the property industry. My real estate career spans almost twenty years, and I am proud to hold the title of Master Practitioner in Real Estate (MPRE), with a full-status FFC registration since 2005. I began working in real estate alongside my father Geoff (a qualified CA and Registered Valuer, who continues to be an invaluable asset to the CARADOC team) on the sale of large-scale commercial portfolios between wealthy individuals and JSE listed property funds. This was followed by time at Pam Golding Properties where I focused on the successful development of advertising and marketing strategies and materials for the promotion of luxury residential homes, developments, commercial and fractional ownership properties in South Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands. My sociable and outgoing nature and my passion for architecture and beautiful homes were the drivers behind my decision to join Engel & Volkers as the residential sales lead in the family-friendly Cape Town suburb of Rondebosch. Alongside my involvement in the property industry, I also spent a number of years as a specialist digital marketing strategist and project manager, consulting on many well-known brands such as the V&A Waterfront, Shoprite Checkers and Robertson Winery to name a few. In 2017, together with my husband and business partner, Giles Pohl, we launched CARADOC – Cape Property Specialists, an independent brokerage delivering superior real estate services to Cape Town’s most exclusive and desirable suburbs. Our mission is to uphold the highest levels of customer care and service excellence, whilst maintaining low overheads, so that we can offer our clients trusted services which produce great results, at competitive commission rates (as low as 2.5% plus VAT).
