We have a long-standing and impressive history in the property industry. Geoff Caradoc-Davies has been in the business for over 50 years and is renowned for his success, first as Managing Director of Syfrets Real Estate (at the time, one of the biggest real estate agencies in South Africa) and then for the last 40 years, as a commercial property broker. Paula, his daughter, worked alongside Geoff on numerous large-scale commercial property transactions and over the years she has gained invaluable experience and knowledge in property marketing and sales. In 2017, when Paula obtained her Principal Agent status, as Master Practitioner Real Estate, she partnered with her husband, Giles Pohl, another property expert, and together they successfully launched their residential sales division, CARADOC – Cape Property Specialists.

Because CARADOC is owner managed, your property will benefit from our combined specialist and personal efforts when guiding you through and managing the sale process. We understand that for most of us, our house is our biggest asset and because we’ve done the homework, written the exams and got the results, mistakes will not be costing you time and money.

Most importantly, we don’t have huge overheads and therefore we are able to keep our commission down. – as low as 2.5% plus VAT on exclusive mandates.

We are regular, straight-talking people with a deep love for, and intimate knowledge of Cape Town and surrounds. We both grew up in the Southern Suburbs, lived in the City Bowl and moved back to the ‘burbs. Giles attended school in Rondebosch and Paula in Claremont, so from shops to schools, dog parks to traffic flows, this really is our backyard. A few years ago, we bought and settled in Sunnybrae, Rondebosch. We have two daughters, Charlotte and Francesca, and a cat, Mao.
